The Life and Times of Don Roulston Buzzard
by Philip John Buzzard

Epilogue

Don Roulston Dymock’s early life was full of tragedy, losing her father at 2½ years of age then her mother, by suicide, at 12 years of age. With her grandfather’s attempted suicide and her Aunt Alice’s suicide there was obviously a hereditary link with Don’s mental illness that was to plague her for most of her life. If she was born in another generation, the problems she had may have been brought under control with medication and she could have maintained a normal life with her family.

She was a devoted mother when in good health, and her children and those close to her still remember the wonderful times we had with our mother, grandmother and Auntie. She is sadly missed by all the generations of her family that knew her.
